Fried Tofu
Ingredients:
- 1 package tofu
- 2 tablespoons sodium tamari, aminos, or shoyu
- 1 teaspoon liquid smoke
- 2 tablespoons nutritional yeast
Directions:
Mix the shoyu and liquid smoke; set aside. Slice the tofu into thin strips in the shape of bacon.
In a non-stick skillet, fry the tofu on medium heat until it becomes crispy. Remove from heat and
add the liquid smoke/shoyu mixture. Sprinkle yeast over the mixture, blending well to coat the tofu.
Remove the tofu and use for sandwiches or breakfast.
