Gluten Recipe



Ingredients:

  • 8 ounces gluten
  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon sweetener
  • 2 teaspoons Five-Spice powder
  • Vegetable cooking spray

Directions:

Preheat the oven to 300 degrees. Form the gluten into a cylinder shape. Lightly simmer in water for 30 minutes until firm. Allow to cool and cut in small pieces. In a bowl, mix the remaining ingredients to create a marinade. Place the gluten in the marinade and marinate for 20 minutes. Spray a baking sheet with cooking spray. Remove the gluten from the marinade and place on the baking sheet. Bake for 30 minutes, basting occasionally with the marinade.
