Minced Fruit Pie
Ingredients:
- 1 cup raisins
- 3 tart green apples, peeled, cored, and cubed
- 1/2 orange, with peel and seeded
- 1/4 lemon, with peel and seeded
- 1/2 cup sweetener
- 1/2 cup cranberry sauce
- 2 tablespoons brandy
- 1 tablespoon quick cooking tapioca
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 2 piecrusts (9-inch each)
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In a food processor, blend the raisins, apples, orange, and
lemon. Add the remaining ingredients. Pour the mixture into a prepared piecrust and cover
with the other crust. Cut a few vent holes in the top and bake for 45 to 50 minutes.
