Minced Fruit Pie



Ingredients:

  • 1 cup raisins
  • 3 tart green apples, peeled, cored, and cubed
  • 1/2 orange, with peel and seeded
  • 1/4 lemon, with peel and seeded
  • 1/2 cup sweetener
  • 1/2 cup cranberry sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brandy
  • 1 tablespoon quick cooking tapioca
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 2 piecrusts (9-inch each)

Directions:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In a food processor, blend the raisins, apples, orange, and lemon. Add the remaining ingredients. Pour the mixture into a prepared piecrust and cover with the other crust. Cut a few vent holes in the top and bake for 45 to 50 minutes.
