Fruit Compote



Ingredients:

  • 1 package frozen fruits, thawed
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup red wine
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • Vanilla yogurt
  • Ground cinnamon, garnish

Directions:

In a saucepan, add the fruit, sugar, wine, and spices (except ground cinnamon). Heat for about 5 minutes until the sugar dissolves. Reduce the heat and simmer for 10 to 15 minutes. Let cool, then serve with yogurt and sprinkle with cinnamon.
