Potato Bread
Ingredients:
- 2 3/4 cups whole wheat flour
- 1/4 cup vital wheat gluten
- 2 tablespoons instant mashed potato flakes
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon soft tofu
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 2 teaspoons active dry yeast
Directions:
Place all the ingredients except the tofu, water, and dry yeast in a bowl, mixing well.
In a separate bowl, mix the tofu, water, and yeast, allowing it to rest for 5 minutes.
Mix the yeast mixture into the wheat mixture. Pour into a 1 1/2 pound capacity bread machine
and bake according to the instructions for your bread machine.
